Quake Wars June 12, 2010 Alberto V. Macchietto 0 out of 1 found this review helpful

Best team-based FPS I have ever played March 10, 2010 M. T. Birdsall (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was initially put off by the steep initial learning curve, but my patience paid off. This is easily best designed team-based FPS I have ever played. The classes are unique and well-rounded and the game does a great job of rewarding you for accomplishing tasks that appropriate for your class.
If you are not sure if this game is for you, do yourself a favor and download the demo and give it a try.
Fun to play February 12, 2010 Marc Spess I've played most of the 1st person shooters and this game is fairly fun to play even now. I go between this and Team Fortress 2, although TF2 keeps adding new maps, hats, weapons and other goodies to keep the interest there. Enemy Territory was released and just sort of stagnated. ID Software didn't do much with it to keep the excitement going, and I think nowadays gamers kind of expect there to be some additional support for the community playing games. So I think if you buy this game you'll enjoy it. There are lots of maps that are grouped into different locations as campaigns. So you either the GDF or the Strogg can take control of different areas and it's a real challenge. To learn each map will take time and keep you busy for a while. But as I said, once you play it for a few months it loses it's edge and you want to play on user-created maps. Unfortunately most servers don't load up new maps, and while there are many classes don't expect ID to add more weapons or vehicles like other 1st person shooters.
best shooter game for the price January 22, 2010 Tomas F. Rodriguez (tx usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
wow, i was surprised since the very beginning. i played battlefield series and many other shooting games but this one, got me stuck on the computer. i have to say that i never had lag or crash on this game. very common in BF2, by the way, i don`t have a super computer, just a pentium 4 and still can play it very decent. i did not play it online yet but i will as soon as i can. highly recommended.
