5 out of 5 stars Love this game!   August 26, 2010
C. freeman
This was by far the best hidden object/adventure game I have ever played! I have been searching for others like it and nothing compares except for Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials. Very challenging game and don't buy a walkthrough, just do a google and you'll get a couple of different ones. Trust me, you will need the walkthrough atleast once. Also try Salem Witch Trials, I had a blast with that one too!

Also, I payed 6.99 for my copy on Big Fish. You don't get the hard copy, but if you lose it for whatever reason you can reload it again.

5 out of 5 stars THE MOST AWESOME HIDDEN OBJECT GAME!   July 14, 2010
The Bear (Groveland, CA USA)
I am fairly new to computer games. I have only been playing them for a few years and I really enjoyed playing "Ravenhearst". It was a lot of fun and somewhat challenging but it was nothing compared to "Return to Ravenhearst". This is, by far, the best game I have ever played ("Dire Grove" is almost as good).
Some of the puzzles are very challenging. I finally had to look-up one of them on the internet because I just couldn't figure it out, which became frustrating. This game is much more complex than many other seek & find games. It is more interactive and requires you to find objects that will be used in other parts of the game. You really have to use your brain to solve the puzzles, too. They are not so simple.
I do recommend that you play the first "Ravenhearst" before you play this game, though. You will get to know what the story is all about and it will make the second game so much more interesting. "Return to Ravenhearst" will blow you away!
Bravo to the developers of this game. Please make more like this one!

1 out of 5 stars Terrible   July 13, 2010

I played the original Ravenhurst and found it interesting and fun. So, when this sequel came out, I figured it would be along the same lines as the original. It is not: it is full of so-called logic and guesswork where you need a strategy guide just to figure out how to proceed. Unlike Madam Fate, which was fun, you cannot skip the illogical, stupid games in between trying to find the hidden objects. This type of game seems to be more and more popular, and, I guess, if you have hours being forced to figure out some insoluble mini-games, it might be fun. But if you enjoy purely hidden object games, like Mysterious City: Cairo, Secrets of Great Art, Hidden Mysteries: The Civil War, and all the Agatha Christie Poirot games, this game is not for you. It certainly is not for me and was a total waste of money. Unfortunately, as hidden object games become more abstruse and interactive, I am giving up on them forever. Read the reviews before you buy!!!!

Had to get cheat sheet from internet to find out how to play the game. It's a fun game.

5 out of 5 stars Exceptional Game   April 26, 2010

"Return to Ravenhearst" was purchased in anticipation of continuing the story of "Ravenhearst" which is a favorite game. We were not prepared for the sequel in that the format was totally different with many interactive and "real time" sequences.
On the down side, the game is very long and complex forcing the player to return many times to previously visited areas. The intricacies of this game become laborious and time consuming. Even with the minor complaints, the game is a totally exceptional experience!
