I purchased this calculator for my daughters pre-calculus class. She used the tutoral to become familiar with the product and found it very easy to use. If I had to purchase it again, I would have gone with the silver edition to obtain more memory.
I found the best price through this sight and delivery came before we had expected.

I purchased this item for my college aged son as a replacement for his other TI84 Plus. After years of use it finally quite working. He likes it for the ease of use.

The TI-84 was required for my 7th grade son's math class. At the beginning of the school year I ordered the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition from Amazon. It worked fine for eight months, then it froze and was completely useless. The math and computer teachers at my son's school did everything to try and fix it, but nothing worked. Since it is still under the one-year warranty, I will try to get a refund, a replacement, or at least have it repaired.
In the meantime, my son needs a TI-84 graphing calculator to do his math, so I ordered the less expensive TI-84 Plus (not the Silver Edition) and it is working fine, at least for now. My son says that his new TI-84 is easy to use and has all the functions and capablities to get his math done, and he is happy with it.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that this one last more than eight months!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how much the calculators cost that High School kids need now days. Especially how easy it is for a teenager to possibly misplace or even have it stolen. But after all is said and done it was so well worth it. He will be able to use it for several years of high school & college math as well. He guards it well. He has named it "The Beast" which means Great!
